We
take your privacy seriously and we take all measures to
protect it.
We
do not take personal information on this Web site. If you

information. E-mail, unless encrypted, is not completely
secure. We use conventional unencrypted e-mail for our communications.
If
you decide to purchase one of Reva's pieces of jewelry you
will do so through the internationally famous PayPal®
company. If you click "Add To Cart" beside any
of Reva's offerings you will go to PayPal®'s secure
site to make payment and any personal information you submit
will be encrypted using state of the art programming. You
will know when you are on a secure Web page because the
URL or Internet address that appears in your browser's window
will begin with "https." The "s" in
https stands for "secure." You may also see a
small lock in the bottom task bar of your browser. All information
that you submit is encrypted before it's sent and only an
authorized key holder may decrypt your message. When you
visit PayPal®, as with any Web site, you should familiarize
yourself with their privacy policy.
Cookies.
The PayPal® site uses cookies to keep track of your
order. Cookies have received a bad rap. Some people confuse
them with spyware or adware-- computer code that tracks
your computer use and then calls home to offer up those
infuriating popup ads. A cookie is a tiny snippet of computer
code that is stored on your hard drive after you visit a
particular site. The PayPal® cookie isn't a malicious
computer code that tracks your computer usage or calls home
in any malicious way. What does it do? Say you visit this
site and select a piece of jewelry to purchase, clicking
"Add to Cart." If you click on "View Cart"
you'll see that the jewelry you chose was added to the cart.
But let's say that you didn't have time to finish the checkout
purchase process because you had to leave and run an errand.
But when you do come back a few days later your selection
will conveniently remain in your shopping cart-- so you
may pick up where you left. Most cookies will expire in
about 14 days. So cookies can be helpful.
